Nobody ever told me that!”

(…or maybe that’s exactly what you’ve been thinking yourself!)

Workshops and education sessions are a powerful way for schools, kindergartens, childcare centres, and community organisations to provide meaningful support for parents and staff. These sessions combine practical strategies with reflection, helping adults feel more confident and connected in their parenting and caregiving roles.

Core Workshops

  • Embracing the ‘Good Enough’ Parent (1 hour, up to 25 participants)

Parenting doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful. This workshop explores the “good enough” philosophy, helping parents let go of unrealistic expectations and focus on building strong, connected relationships with their children.

  • Preparing for the Tween/Teen Years (1 hour, up to 25 participants)

The shift into adolescence can feel like uncharted territory. This session offers practical tools and insights to help parents navigate changing dynamics, foster open communication, and support their child’s growing independence.

  • Navigating Big Emotions in Toddlers (1 hour, up to 25 participants)

Toddler tantrums are tough for children and parents alike. In this workshop, parents learn how to recognise what lies beneath the behaviour, respond calmly, and support their child in building lifelong emotional skills.

Customised Programs

Tailored for your community

Every community is different, I can design customised workshops, including short introductory Tuning into Kids/Teens programs. These can be run for parent communities (such as school or kinder groups) or for staff teams (childcare, schools, and family services).
Programs can be adapted in length, focus, and delivery to best suit your community’s needs, focusing on the specific challenges and goals that matter most to your organisation.

I recently attended a parenting workshop run by the lovely Anna at Nurturing Parenthood. It was fantastic! Anna’s approach was practical and insightful. I especially appreciated her emphasis on positive communication and methods of self care. The environment was supportive and it was great to have the opportunity to learn from other parents too. I highly recommend Anna for any parent looking for guidance and support on the parenting journey. Looking forward to attending more workshops.
